Driven by a passion for aviation, the founders set out to connect people from around the world with Irish aviation training providers, which have an excellent reputation for safety and high standards across the industry. As English language proficiency is often a barrier to starting a career in aviation, the company assembled an experienced academic team and established Air Academy Ireland, which is now the leading provider of Aviation English courses in the Republic of Ireland.

Peter is passionate about aviation and equally passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with others.
Peter started his career in 1977 as an Airframe Technician in the Royal Air Force (RAF). A few years later, he completed further training in propulsion (engines), electrical and avionics systems, expanding his technical expertise. After 23 rewarding years in the military, he left with the rank of Chief Technician and joined an airline as an Engineering Manager. In this role, he was responsible for managing aircraft, spare parts, manpower and budgets to keep the flying programme running smoothly.
Peter began teaching technical subjects to engineers in the early 1990s. After obtaining his TEFL certificate, he started teaching Aviation English in 2011. He takes great satisfaction in seeing students develop their understanding of the subject and go on to build successful careers in aviation.
John is an Airbus A330 Captain with Aer Lingus, operating long haul routes.
With more than 30 years of flying experience and over 13,000 flying hours, he has flown the Piper Tomahawk, Piper Seminole, Cessna 310, Boeing 737-200/300/400/500, Boeing 747-100/200, BAe 146, Airbus A320/321 and Airbus A330-200/300.
John is the Principal and Director of Charter Aero Medical and the owner of Universal Healthcare Partners Ltd, two Irish owned companies providing medical services to the aviation industry throughout Europe.

Focused on business, Silas has over 15 years of experience in international marketing, leadership and business management. Following a career in civil aviation and the education sector in Brazil and Ireland, he developed expertise in marketing, customer service and sales. Over the past few years, he has been involved in a variety of projects and initiatives across different organisations, consistently delivering results beyond expectations through a target driven approach.

Junior graduated in Business Communication Management and Advertising from Anhembi Morumbi University in Brazil and holds a postgraduate qualification in Integrated Communication Management from SENAC. He worked as Creative Director at the Wolf Maya Acting School, where he was responsible for the graphic design of more than 180 theatre productions and 40 film productions, collaborating with some of Brazil’s leading directors and contributing to the country’s cultural sector. In Ireland, he has worked with a range of established brands, developing effective marketing strategies across a variety of industries.
